Tonight's Blessing

The first appearance of Yellow Majesty was in 2020 with the EP Tonight’s Blessing. The EP explores the ugly, claustrophobic, and paradoxal themes of human conduct. This is expressed sonically through a dense and isolating production, together with the stated and often tortured lyrics. The overall message of the EP is that: ‘while struggling against dead ends, the most beautiful thing you can do is to surrender…’

The EP initiates with the unsettling track Pawn, and transits afterwards to the more ambient and suggestive To The Bone. The third track on the EP is the tormentingly playful In Limbo, which is followed up by the submissive interlude Game Over. The EP ends with the title track and single Tonight’s Blessing, which also was released as a music video.

The EP was subsequently arranged, written, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Amir Haj-Bolouri at Yellow Fuzz Studio.
